Anesthesia Implications

Position : Supine, arms tucked, head slightly extended, Bed turned 90 degrees, Bed turned 180 degrees
Time : 1-2 hours (average)
Blood Loss : Moderate (50 - 200 ml)
Post-op Pain : Moderate (4-6)
Maintenance Paralytic : Single intubating dose, then no more unless asked - the case must end with full airway tone and a strong cough.
Considerations : PONV, Throat Pack
