Anesthesia Implications

Position : Lithotomy, Supine, arms at side on armboards
Time : 5-30 min (very short)
Blood Loss : Very Low (5-10 ml)
Post-op Pain : Minimal (0-3)
Maintenance Paralytic : None for retrieval or transfer; a relaxant is reasonable for the long microsurgical reversal.
Considerations : Off-site, PONV, Aspiration risk / Full stomach, Obesity
