Position : Supine, arms tucked, Head is locked in the stereotactic frame and docked to the machine; it cannot be turned or lifted once imaging is registered.
Time : 4+ hours (very long)
Blood Loss : Zero
Post-op Pain : Minimal (0-3)
Maintenance Paralytic : None for the treatment; at most an intubating dose in a child, since immobility comes from depth, not relaxation.
Blocks : Scalp
Considerations : Mayfield Pins, Off-site, PONV
