Advanced Practice Nurse, Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CNA)

The CRNA provides comprehensive anesthesia care across the perioperative period and supports patient safety and quality improvement at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System. The role includes clinical practice, consultation, care planning, and support for staff education.

• •Provides anesthesia services before, during, and after procedures, including emergency response and care inside and outside the OR.
• •Develops anesthesia plans and prescribes appropriate perioperative orders and medications.
• •Rotating shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays; compressed or flexible schedules are authorized.
• •Relocation or recruitment incentives may be authorized.
