About the role
An anesthesiologist will provide perioperative and critical-care anesthesia services for veteran patients at the Columbia VA Health Care System, working with CRNAs and under the direction of the Chief of Anesthesia. The role includes clinical care across the medical center, supervision and teaching, and participation in quality and safety activities.
- •Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; may change based on facility needs
- •On-call coverage is required
- •Works across OR, PACU, ICU, ward, and clinic settings
- •VA provides malpractice liability protection with tail coverage
