About the role

This VA physician role provides advanced cardiac anesthesia and perioperative care, including intraoperative management and postoperative critical care. The position also contributes to multidisciplinary decision-making, quality improvement, education, and research.

  • •Schedule: 40 hours per week, typically 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in 10-hour shifts; day off negotiable
  • •Call, some weekends, and holidays are required
  • •Sign-on incentive of up to $80,000 for a highly qualified candidate, subject to approval
  • •EDRP loan repayment may be available, with awards up to $200,000 subject to eligibility and program approval
  • •Federal benefits include retirement, insurance, and 50–55 days of paid time off per year
  • •Possible CME reimbursement of $1,000 per year for eligible full-time, board-certified physicians
