About the role
The Staff Anesthesiologist provides pre-anesthetic evaluation and planning, administers anesthesia, and manages patients during and after procedures. The role also supports emergency airway response, pain-related consultations, and education of trainees at a VA medical center.
- •Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with additional late shifts and scheduled on-call responsibilities, including weekends
- •Provides Code Blue airway and resuscitation support throughout the facility
- •Works with residents, doctoral-level nurse anesthesia students, and medical students
