Anesthesia Implications

Position : Lithotomy, arms tucked, Low lithotomy for the perineal exposure; legs come down and the table returns toward supine for the balloon incision.
Time : 2-4 hours (long)
Blood Loss : Low (10-50 ml)
Post-op Pain : Moderate (4-6)
Maintenance Paralytic : No
Blocks : Pudendal, Ilioinguinal/Iliohypogastric
Considerations : PONV, Anticoagulation / Antiplatelet Therapy, Prolonged Lithotomy / Well-Leg Compartment
