Position : Prone, Supine, arms extended and flexed (superman), Rolls under chest and pelvis with the hips flexed to open the perineum; arms at the side for the abdominal stage.
Time : 2-4 hours (long)
Blood Loss : High (200 - 500 ml)
Post-op Pain : High (7-10)
Maintenance Paralytic : Yes
Considerations : High Blood Loss, Arterial line, Central line, Neonatal resuscitation / NICU standby, Aspiration risk / Full stomach
